UK ORDERS WILL ONLY BE SENT TO UK MAINLAND ADDRESSES ONLY, WHICH YOU HAVE GIVEN US ON THE ORDER FORM  -UNLESS YOU CONTACT US FIRST TO CONFIRM  SHIPPING .


FAST UK DELIVERY 

Small parcels  Under 2kg are sent 1st class signed for by Royal mail to ENTIRE UK  including islands and highlands .

 Parcels larger or heavier than this are sent via DHL or FEDEX  to MAINLAND UK ONLY . max 20 kg

EXCLUDING POSTCODES that are Scottish Highlands AB 31-56 ,PA,IV,PH,HS1-9,KA,KW,ZE,TR21, and all UK islands IOM , IOW ,NI, CHANNEL ETC .

MAINLAND RATES  are as follows

Delivery shall be made at the address specified by you at the time of ordering. We will make every effort to deliver promptly but cannot be held responsible for any inconvenience arising from failing to deliver promptly, factors which could reasonably be considered to be outside our control .We strongly advise that if the goods are required for a specific date they are ordered in advance to avoid any disappointment.


All shortages in parts supplied must be reported to TASS by email scooters.tass@gmail.com    stating invoice no. within 36 hours upon receipt.


Click & Collect

Our Click & Collect service was launched on 20th May 2020. Collections can be made from our shop at 114 Northdown Road, Margate, Kent, CT9 2RE. After you place your order, we will be in touch within a couple of hours to discuss the collection date, time and details.


Availability

While we endeavour to hold sufficient stock to meet all orders, if we have insufficient stock to complete the delivery of all the goods ordered, and the goods may not be available within a reasonable amount of time ( 30 days ), and where a substitute product is not acceptable, we may, at our discretion, dispatch the order incomplete. In the case that the goods have been paid for by cheque, a clearance time of 7 working days  will be required to be able to make a full balance refund.

Most items ordered before 12 Midday are shipped same day on normal working days. We do not ship on SATURDAYS /SUNDAYS OR BANK HOLIDAYS  


Motor scooters are NOT delivered free for any reason. Collection is in person or delivery can sometimes be arranged at an extra cost that may not be stated at the point of order. Risk or damage or loss shall pass to you at time of delivery to the specified delivery address.



Returns Policy

TASS wants you to be totally satisfied with your purchase. If for any reason you are not happy with your order we will refund the value of the goods supplied, provided that you first notify us of your intention to cancel, and that the goods together with the original invoice are returned to TASS in perfect condition to the address specified on the invoice within 7 working days after the day of delivery.

A certificate of posting should be obtained as we cannot be responsible for the non delivery of goods to our address without it. The cost of posting the goods back to us must be wholly covered by the customer and not ourselves. Your right to cancel does not apply to items that have been USED or FITTED by you (UNLESS FAULTY ). You must take good care of the goods while they are in your possession. TASS will repay you the value of the goods without any further charge to you once they have been received at our address in good condition.

A proof of purchase/receipt from TASS is required for all items returned under warranty.


Non-Returnable Items

Scooters , scooter frames ,Electrical items,Used parts  ,Opened parts , Helmets, Motorcycle clothing (unless faulty), carb jets , needles,valves , Shims,Pins,Cylinder kits ,Crankshafts, Special ordered items ,Second hand parts,and end of range Sale items .


ELECTRICAL-ELECTRONIC-DIGITAL PRODUCTS

Many of the electrical / electronic / digital items we supply are specialised and delicate in operation. It is important for you to understand that such items also need to be checked carefully before using them and, as such, a home mechanic may not have the necessary equipment to check the items are fitted and working correctly.

Although it may seem that it is a straight swap, old for new, the new component will require to be checked and specialised testing equipment is required to do such checks. For instance: checks should be made to stator readings prior to fitting a new CDI, and after fitting, there are other checks that will require to be done.

Therefore, the manufacturers highly recommend you seek the services of a “qualified auto technician” to fit these type of components for you. Proof of fitting by a “qualified technician” will be required before we enter into any query regarding an electrical / electronic / digital component.

We therefore reserve the right to have any returned electrical/electronic/digital components, which have been supplied and fitted, checked by the manufacturers prior to any credit being issued. Replacements would therefore be charged for until confirmation is received from the manufacturers or suppliers. This is a condition set by our manufacturers or suppliers of such electrical / electronic / digital components.

Damaged or Defective Goods

If in the unlikely event your goods arrive in a damaged condition or are defective in any way you must inform us within 36 hours upon receipt by email scooters.tass@gmail.com stating the order number and the problem. Failure to do so will deem that you have accepted the goods. The goods should be returned to TASS. If for any reason a replacement is not available for a damaged or defective item, then we will refund the value of the returned goods to the original payment method.


Choice of Law & Jurisdiction

These terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with UK law. TASS is a privately owned business whose head office address is 114 Northdown Road, Margate, Kent CT9 2RE.

Nothing in these conditions will reduce your statutory rights relating to faulty or misdescribed goods. For further information about your statutory rights contact your local authority standards department or citizens advice bureau.
